Terms & Conditions

 For the purposes of this contract, Missy's Adorable Paw's and/or their representatives will be referred to as PET SITTER and the Pet Owner will be referred to as OWNER. The parties herein agree to the following terms and conditions.

 - Cash and Bank Transfer payments are accepted.

- Cash payment for all subsequent pet sits will be paid in full and left in a conspicuous place for the Pet Sitter prior to or for the first visit. Bank transfers must be paid in full prior to the first visit.

- If Owner plans to lengthen their trip, they must make contact with the Pet Sitter a minimum of 12 hours in advance of last Pet Sit. Owner agrees to pay all additional fees incurred promptly upon their return.

- If Owner returns early, they must make contact with the Pet Sitter a minimum of 12 hours prior to cancelling future visits in order for the remaining fees to be reimbursed.

- If for any reason the Pet Sitter must cancel the contract, all fees paid will be reimbursed, and Pet Sitter is not in any way liable for the Pet Owner having to make other arrangements regarding pet care.

 - While the Pet Sitter will make all attempts to provide your pet with optimal care and welfare, the Pet Sitter will not be responsible or liable under any circumstances for any accident, injury, disease, or death to your pet while your pet is in the care of the Pet Sitter.

- Pet Sitter will not be liable for the injury, disappearance, death, or fines of any pet with unsupervised access to the outdoors. Pet Sitter accepts no responsibility for the security of the premises or loss if other individuals have access to the home during the term of this agreement. Owner is to notify Pet Sitter if anyone else has keys or access to the Owner’s property other than the Pet Sitter during the time the Pet Sitter is caring for Owner’s home and Pet(s).

- Pet Sitter is not liable for Pet(s) that are left outside or may escape when Pet Sitter is not in attendance.

- For House Sitting services, the Owner agrees to provide power, water and heating for the duration of the stay.

- It is expressly understood that the Pet Sitter shall not be held liable for damage done by Pet to either in interior or exterior of home when Pet Sitter is not there.

- The Pet Owner will supply to the Pet Sitter with appropriate food and any medication that the animal will require while it is in the care of the Pet Sitter.

- This agreement is valid for all future visits until a new agreement is signed. Pet Sitter reserves the right to terminate this agreement at any time, at its sole discretion; likewise, client may terminate this agreement at any time.

- The Pet Owner acknowledges that the Pet Sitter may be responsible for multiple pets at any one time.

- During all assignments, Pet Sits will only be undertaken by Missy's Adorable Paw's owner or employees, unless prearranged with client.

- You must before handing over the assignment to your Pet Sitter make sure they have been given full written details and instructions on care of your Pet and the house (if house sitting). Neither we nor the Pet Sitters will be responsible if full written instructions on the assignment are not given in advance.

 - If a medical emergency arises for the Pet, the Pet Sitter will make every effort to contact the Owner but if time is of the essence Owner authorizes Pet Sitter to seek medical services at the closest Veterinary Clinic, unless other instructions are described. Owner agrees to indemnify the Pet Sitter for all the services rendered by Veterinarian necessary during their absence.

- It is the responsibility of the Pet Owner to obtain any necessary insurance for the animal while it is in the care of the Pet Sitter.

- In the event of inclement weather or natural disasters, the Pet Sitter will use their best judgment in caring for your pet(s).

- If a problem arises such flooding, earthquake, pipe rupture. Fire, break-in. animal destroying fence etc., Pet Sitter will make every effort to contact Owner and follow their instructions. If the Owner cannot be reached or immediate action is necessary for the health, safety, and welfare of the Pet(s), the Owner authorizes Pet Sitter to make any repairs deemed necessary by the Pet Sitter. The Owner agrees to indemnify the Pet Sitter for all the expenses incurred for repair of property and will hold Pet Sitter blameless for work done by other.

 - If cancellation is given to Missy's Adorable Paw's in writing 14 days prior to the booking there will be no charge.

- If cancellation is given to Missy's Adorable Paw's in writing between 7 days and 48 hours prior to the booking then a 50% of the total invoice will be charged.

- If cancellation is given to Missy's Adorable Paw's in writing less than 48 hours prior to the booking, you will be charged the full invoice.

- In the unlikely event that Missy's Adorable Paw's cannot honour your booking, we will substitute an alternative Pet Sitter or your monies will be refunded.
